In 2014, Jesper Andersen and Quantum PR Measurement became the first Danish member of AMEC – the international Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication.
The organisation represents companies and practitioners who provide services and tools in media intelligence and insights as well as evaluation and communication research. By 2017, AMEC has more than 150 members from 86 countries all over the world.
The logo of the organisation is widely considered an international mark of excellence and serves as a guide to clients.
AMEC Summit
Each year, the association hosts a two-day summit, which is the top conference in the measurement industry. The program consists of international speakers as well as workshops and plenty of networking opportunities.
The summit is typically the venue of announcement for major initiatives such as the Barcelona Principles, Measurement Month, the Integrated Evaluation Framework and the Say No to AVE Campaign.
One of the highlights of the event is the award show, at which campaigns and practitioners are honoured for their work and achievements in measurement and evaluation.
Over the years, the association has increased its focus on education and supporting the development of the market and future generations of practitioners in both the PR, marketing and measurement industry.
